The slide to nothingness.

Mr. President,
What a difference a little time makes. The last time you visited Putin you were pressing him for democratic reforms. Later on you denied their entrance to the WTO. Your imperial demeanor set the tone of that meeting.

Your recent trip was a complete role reversal. Putin is the Top Dog and you are a crippled pretender to the throne.
While you mired yourself in your ridiculous war on terror in Iraq, Putin was consolidating his country’s natural gas and energy resources. Subsequently, he has become the Energy God who controls a significant amount of Europe’s natural gas.

Who said Russia was down and out?

If you listen closely you can hear the world applaud your party’s resounding defeat in November. Your trip to the woodshed and outsourcing of our new foreign policy to daddy’s friends was inevitable. He has been there to constantly bail you out your whole life. He got you out of drunken driving charges, Vietnam, the National Guard, and Harkin Oil, and now he is here to help you once again.

I imagine your daddy hoped you would measure up, but unfortunately you were a loser as you grew up and remain a loser as our president as well.

I guess you will never measure up to be a man junior. You’ll be lucky if you don’t get impeached. Rummy may not be as lucky to avoid prosecution.

Sorry to see Rummy go, next to you, he was a great source of ridicule. Now that he is a common citizen there is a small matter regarding his involvement in war crimes.

The Center for Constitutional Rights has decided to kick-start a new investigation.

“Today, CCR filed a criminal complaint in Germany under their universal jurisdiction law charging Rumsfeld, Gonzales, and other high-ranking officials in the Bush administration with war crimes. The complaint was filed on behalf of 11 former detainees who were victims of severe beatings, sleep and food deprivation, hooding and sexual abuse in Abu Ghraib, and one detainee at Guantánamo Bay subjected to torture and abuse there under Rumsfeld’s specific authorization.”

The letter reads as follows:

I am writing to express my support for the criminal complaint filed against U.S. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, et al., by the Center for Constitutional Rights, the International Federation for Human Rights, the Republican Attorneys Association and others, represented by Wolfgang Kaleck of Berlin, on November 14, 2006. I kindly request that you begin the investigations regarding the incidents at Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo, and others. Because the U.S. has failed to fully investigate, and because the U.S. is not a member of the International Criminal Court, there is no other forum to turn to in seeking justice and accountability.

Rummy’s head is not the only one on the line; George Tenet, Steven Cambone, Lieutenant General Ricardo Sanchez, Major General Geoffrey Miller, Major General Walter Wojdakowski, Colonel Thomas Pappas, Major General Barbara Fast, Colonel Marc Warren, Alberto R. Gonzales, William James Haynes, David S. Addington, Former Deputy Assistant Attorney General John Yoo, and Former Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Counsel, Jay Bybee are all to be investigated if they have their way.

The CCR believes each of these people played a role in torturing suspects.

Enjoy yourself where ever you can junior it’s time to pay for your follies.
