Loosing The Grunts And Allies

Mr. President,
I have been feeling oddly satisfied lately, almost peaceful. It is not the same feeling I would get for saying "I told you so" to those disillusioned people who supported you, it is better than that.

Now that many major media networks have jumped on the "Bush is incompetent" and "Republicans are Immoral" wagon," I don't feel like a madman yelling into the wind anymore. The winds are not on your back anymore junior, they have severly shifted into a strong headwind and there is a huge chorus of voices in the air daring to question your policies and propaganda.

You have made so many egregious errors how could they help it? You made it easy to disparage you and your administration, it has even become popular to "Bash Bush."

When you proclaimed Iran, Iraq and North Korea as your axis of evil, I was dumbfounded by the extent of your stupidity.

You are such an uneducated, unenlightened shit. You are so easily led around by Crazy-Man Cheney and the other neo-conservatives in your midst.

Did they whisper in your ear; "If you do as we recommend, you will be honored for years Mr. President"; "You will surpass your father's achievements"; You are special; Trust us; God wants you to do this; You are special."

So, what have years of "go-it-alone " and "don't negotiate with people you don't like " policy got you?

Iraq has sucked up almost half a trillion dollars, and thousands of liters of American blood with no end in sight.

It's hard to believe that the United States, the world's super power, invades a small Mid-Eastern country with an emaciated infrastructure; a fourth rate army, and you still found a way to screw it up.

Despite the notorious image you gave Iran they have not been deterred from continuing their work on nuclear power. Anti-American extremist Muslim groups have sprouted up like weeds all over the world. Anti-American sentiment in general has grown in every country.

Lebanon's fledgling democracy has been essentially destroyed when you allowed Israel to bomb their country to pieces.

The Ukraine's "Orange revolution" has come off the tracks and has fallen back into Putin's sphere of influence.

And now North Korea has reportedly exploded a small atomic weapon. It was a puny explosion about a half-kiloton according to a senior intelligence official. I seem to remember another large explosion they set off a few years ago which left a large crater. Our intelligence agency said it was probably created by conventional explosives. Perhaps Kim is, toying with your emotions again.

Your daddy's man James Baker has been sent to bail you out of another mess. Daddy always comes through doesn't he? His bi-partisan committee has been working on the Iraq quagmire and may report that Iraq should be split along ethnic lines with an equal split of oil profits given to each tribe. That's just a guess; of course.

I was so disappointed when Foley's folly became big news.

Forget the lies about getting us into war, Delay's money laundering Cunningham's greed, and Abramoff "pay for play" influence peddling. It doesn't strike a chord with a majority of Americans who believe Congressmen are corrupt; it's just something many Americans expect, but pedophilia, really hits home. Everyone loves children and knows how vulnerable they are.

Didn't you warn all your Republican congressmen to stay away from little boys junior, because just like Monica's dress, they might get some on them?

Remember Watergate? it is not the act so much as it is the coverup that can cause the Republican house of cards to fall.

Another failure of Intelligence?

Mr. President,
Condi told the world yesterday that the United States had failed to understand the depth of hostility among Palestinians toward their longtime leaders. This wouldn't be just one more "failure of Intelligence" would it? Is this a failure of the CIA intelligence gathering or that your administration is just not very smart?

Can you believe the Commerce Department reported negative savings! People are using the word "depression" and economy in the same sentence during your watch! If this story gets legs this could play hell with your SOTU speech.

Of every 100 containers that crossed the Pacific Ocean from Asia to North America last year, 60 came back empty In other words; the United States received millions of new manufactured goods and sent back tons of trash and raw materials. China announced this month that its surplus in its trade with the United States in 2005 came to $114.7 billion. U.S. government calculations, which are now being completed, put the number closer to $200 billion. I guess we don't make much of anything anymore or at least anything that he world wants except for some pretty good weapons like bombs and planes.

The latest study on behavior presented by the Society for Personality and Social Psychology explains why your party does not attract many blacks. It shows that you are very appealing as a leader to those Americans who harbor greater anti-black prejudice. Whites support Republicans with prejudice against blacks. They went on they say, "We have 50 years of evidence that racial prejudice predicts voting." Better find some "experts" to counter this one junior. It probably won't make main street media but get the boys ready anyway.

Doesn't the processing of spent nuclear rods (extraction of radioactive plutonium) produce nuclear weapon grade material? Didn't you propose that the United States would reprocess spent nuclear material for other countries? And didn't you submit $250 million in 2007 to start this effort? So Russia is only proposing to do, the same thing only with Iran.
You looked into Putti Put's soul and you said you saw a "good man", so I guess you can trust him to make sure Iran is not going to get weapons grade stuff ... right?

Keep an eye out for Philippe Sands's new book. It is coming out of Britain this week. It is a tell-all about your interaction with Tony before going to the UN on the Iraq war.

How many books have “frustrated bureaucrats” and other “elites” written about you? As one of your advisors would say. "Those stupid people are just working on past realities. You have created what, maybe 20 to 25 new "realities" since then for others to study. Does this mean you live in the fourth dimension?

Dog gone it junior what was it again you accomplished in Iraq again? Whatever it is the country can stand tall knowing we have won the war in Iraq. Will there be helicopters removing personnel from the rooftop of the embassy when you pull the remaining troops out?

You Have To Ask Better Questions.

Mr. President,
Could you get Addington to improve your vetting of government lawyers? It should be done the sooner rather than later so. You could fire all the government's lawyers and selectively re-hire them.
It would be a good way of avoiding lawyers like Jack Goldsmith and others who foolishly believe in the balance of powers, earlier in the game as you remake your presidency into a monarchy. Don't rush into it just think about it.

It's like when Goss had everyone in the CIA sign off a statement of loyalty to the president. Many government scientists and department heads have long been secured in this fashion. Some scientists have been difficult to remove like Hansen at NASA, but you still have plenty of loyal scientists in your pocket to overcome anything he says and you can impose bureaucratic media restrictions on him as well.

Sure people will argue that a record number of people have left government service as a result of new vetting practices and loyalty oaths. And yes many of the people you have lost were very talented and very experienced people at what they did but remember what Cheney keeps telling you. Take the long view. It will secure your place in history and it will provide a reassuring measure of consistency in the message when everyone is aboard. And you sure don't want the American public to get mixed messages do you?

Speaking about leaving town. Arab's professionals are leaving Iraq in droves. The once "pride of the Arab medical world" are moving out. It seems like the instability caused by your "plan for a democratic Iraq", helped them implement their exit plan.

What's with South Korea? I thought they were our allies? So how come they don't want to help you with super notes coming out of North Korea? Maybe they are more concerned with improving trade relations with their northern counterpart rather than make nice to you even though they may be getting paid in really really good looking counterfeit $100 bills.

I thought you emphatically stated that we do not negotiate with terrorists? So what's deal with today's news that American officials in Iraq are in face-to-face talks with high-level Iraqi Sunni insurgents? Has yesterday's terrorists become today's freedom fighters/partners in peace?
