Has the pope thanked you yet for the flak he is getting yet?

Mr. President,
The Pope really stuck his foot in his mouth this time, but he can thank you for the huge negative reaction.
"I am deeply sorry for the reactions in some countries to a few passages of my address at the University of Regensburg, which were considered offensive to the sensibility of Muslims," he said, adding that the quote from Emperor Manuel II did not reflect his own opinion.

It all started when he addressed an audience at the school where he once taught theology in Regensburg Germany. His lecture ironically enough was on faith and reason.

He said, "Violence could not be justified by religion, and he used the term jihad, which he defined as Islamic holy war, as an example." He went on to quoted a 14th century Byzantine emperor of the time who had said:
"Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached," as an example.

At the time I am sure he didn't think he was doing anything wrong in discussing a point of debate for faith and reason, but your Iraq war and continued support for everything Israeli, has sensitized a majority of Muslims to consider your violence and discrimination against Muslims at home to be your crusade. You even described it as a crusade early in the war until your handlers told you it was a bad thing to say.

Right now between your actions and the innocent comment by the pope, I wouldn't give you a plug nickle for a christian's life in Baghdad or anywhere in the Mid East right now.

On the UN front, you are having a tough time getting Bolton formally nominated. I wonder why? Will you figure how to make another recession appointment as you did when you first brought him up as a candidate, to avoid Senate confirmation? Maybe when you visit the UN this week pleading for their help you can get the UN body to support his nomination. Yea, and maybe pigs will fly. The pope will need some hefty protection for a while.

Your Secret Service detail has to be HUGE by now!

I'll tell you a secret. Many Americans have figured out that your adversity to getting caught in all your lies has distanced you from the average American?

During your first term, you skillfully avoided any and all press conferences. I think you actually set a record for having the fewest press conferences of any modern president. Instead, you depend on Rummy's and Mr. "Locked and Loaded" Cheney counsel to avoid answers for your actions/debacles.

I thought it was pretty funny that at the beginning of your second term with 52 % of the popular vote, you actually thought you had capital to spend.

Maybe it's because you were never too bright, or maybe it was the bubble you live in, that it took you so long to figure out you were working from a deficit of credit instead of a surplus. It is kind of like the National debt you created, a historical record deficit. Your motto has to be "Go big or go home" when it comes to Natonal debt and world-hatred, huh junior. A poll took last year in Europe proclaimed that the majority of people there you are feared; you are more hated, than Bin Laden.

Once all this bad news filtered its way through your bubble, you were forced to make more public statements to try to hike up your poll numbers, and hold more press conferences; but being an accomplished master of repetition didn't really clarify much. It did however provide loads of material to ate-night comics. "We will stay the course, we will stand up when they stand down, terrorists hate us because of our freedom," yada yada yada.

It reminds me of that annoying repetitive TV commercial, "HEAD ON, apply it directly to your head"! "HEAD ON, apply it directly to your head"! "HEAD ON, apply it directly to your head"!

It's super repetitive, annoying, and does not tell you how it works or promise a damn thing. It must have been written by the same guy who writes your speeches.

Your writers need new material, or maybe the scope of what they can write about is narrowing.

Your disastrous war in Iraq, the setbacks in Afghanistan, the open mocking and disdain of the United States by nations both large and small, Iran's defiant stance on their right to pursue nuclear power, your lack of support for international treaties, politicizing science, your inadequate ability to get North Korea to stop building nuclear weapons, your failed policy to curb the growth of left-leaning governments in South America, the set back of the Orange revolution in the Ukraine, your undying support for Israel as they bombed the country's civilians and civilian infrastructure which all but killed off the fledgling democracy in Lebanon, the poor state of our economy, the loss of jobs during your term in office, your televised lack of response after Katrina, has only increased your security detail and the density of your bubble.

It's a shame really, the most powerful man in the world and the most isolated president in modern times, has no idea what he can do to get his national and foreign agenda supported by the country except to attack opposition, and threaten to withhold existing security practices hostage unless he gets his way.

Besides the pope, you and your administration are not the only ones to suffer for all your screw ups and apparent lies.

Fox TV has also taken a hit. They are suffering from collateral damage for it's steadfast and continuous support for advancing your propaganda, with some of the lowest ratings it has ever seen, and Murdoch is very unhappy.

Time will tell if a similar fate awaits Disney and their ABC network for recently airing the right-wing sponsored docu-propaganda, "Path to 9/11."

Anything linked to your administration smells like bad fish these days.

Many Republican congressmen up for re-election in tight races this November has allowed you to raise money for them at closed-door Republican fund raisers, but place themselves outside a ten-foot radius of you for any public photo-opportunities.

Can you say pariah/whore? You are being treated like someone they use to fulfill their physical desires with but, who is just not the kind of woman they want to take home to meet the parents.
