So many lines so little time.

Mr. President,

Condi's trip to the Mid East is too little too late. The Israel occupation and their merciless bombing of the Palestinian territories have always the main issue and every President since Carter knew it except you.

Her visit to Israel and Palestine is a long time coming.

Although she has been here before, it was always for show, perhaps that is all it is now; a sort of holding action like freezing the opponent's kicker with a time out, until you start a second "shock and awe" campaign in Tehran.

It is the key to resolving many of our woes in that area of the world, but we have done kissed too many Israeli asses to be effective.

It will be up to a different administration to begin this effort in earnest, and they will be starting in a hole so deep they will be able to smell rice cooking.

I am afraid that despite whether IF this a good-faith effort, or not it is a wasted effort.

The news about ex-Republican representative Mark Foley has so many possible lines for late night comics and lampoon-type of news articles.

"Bush says Democrats soft on terrorists, while Republicans are soft on young boys."

"Do you know Republicans don't use bookmarks they just bend over a page."

"Pressure builds on Republicans, until they find relief in the back chamber."

"House needs to get itself cleaned out prior to meeting secretly behind closed doors."

"Republican tattle tail."

"Foley folly foments fear with fellow repugs."

"Republican pedophile claims clergy was cheeky."

"Hastert hasn't heart to hurt household."

"Bush sticks it to Foley but bends over for Hastert."

If the Democrats fail to win at least the House of Representatives this November, it may be time to seriously want to either buy an ample amount of brown shirts and some shiny black hob-nailed boots; join an underground movement, build a bio-shelter, or move out of the country.

It's the secrets stupid!

Mr. President,
Your obsession with secrecy and stonewalling the press has done wonders for book companies who have obtained thousands of pages that answer the public's demand for transparency. Each tome is either written by conscientious whistle-blowers or their trusted reporters.

Bob Woodward's new book has pried open your vault and accessed how your cabinet works and the devastating truths behind the True George Bush.
Although you claim that you won't divulge information impacting national security, I don't understand how that explains why some reports have been either, kept in draft form, withheld, given to a select few or trashed.
It is hard to keep a secret. Despite installing loyalists in each federal agency and requiring many government workers to take loyalty oaths, there are literally thousands of people who often feel that what you are doing to our country, through their departments is either immoral or illegal and they are moved to say something about it.
MAF54, Republican Representative Mark Foley had secrets too; today, he had to resign because of them. The party of family values seems to value our family's young boys
The Republican party is a large tent indeed, not only do you have inept loyalists infused in various departments but you have all sorts of criminals, like Deke Cunniingham who stole millions of taxpayer dollars, criminal supporter’s Ken Lay who stole millions and ruined thousands of lives, criminal influence peddlers like Abramoff who bribed a yet untold number of Republican congressmen, criminal supporters of torture, like Cheney, Rumsfield, Bolton, other cabinet Neo-cons, house Republicans, and now criminal pedophiles like Mark Foley and his enablers like Hastert who hid the fact Foley was a pedophile because winning at all costs in November means children safety is secondary.
Once you cross, the line of morality nothing is sacred, and your party has crossed that line a long time ago. Perhaps one day you will look back and ask where everything starting to go south on you. Was it limiting women's rights, distorting science, obscuring health issues, suppressing voter's rights, endangering American health, abandoning our poor, disenfranchising our children's education, denying civil rights to immigrants and Americans alike, abandoning the Constitution and the rule of law, or starting an illegal war and killing thousands of innocent people?
The Republican Party certainly is one big tent ...full of thieves, liars, murderers, war criminals, and now child molesters.
Secrets, George; secret lives, secret deals, secret justifications, secret meetings, secret prisoner locations, and what did it gain you, the wrath of the world, and the disdain of millions of Americans.

Do you think the Taliban just chose the wrong God?

Mr. President,
I am saddened to say that we will not have the benefit of living under THE Constitution and THE democracy which so many have died to preserve.

The recent issue of how to handle enemy combatants is just the tip of the iceberg. The real matter comes down to unimpeded executive power. This agreement grants you the power to define who are suspects and what can be done to them, without habeas corpus guarantees for the accused.

Your administration has been adamant to do anything, regardless of the cost to our democracy in order to provide you with "legal" cover to do what you want, to whomever you want, anywhere in the world.

I swear that you and your cabinet must have come to the conclusion that groups like the Taliban must have gotten it right except that they were praising the wrong God.

How did our government become so radicalized that we are taking on the same narrow view of human rights and religious zeal as the people that flew those planes into our towers?

To show how far we have slipped from the norm, this legislation provides for Soviet Union era-treatment of political prisoners. Instead of a Gulag we have legal black holes which allow secret detainee bases around the world.

You must have believed our pre-9/11-democracy was not up to the task of fighting the people who attacked us that September day.

You constantly advocate and legislate that you and a handful of your advisors are more up to the task; so you slowly and methodically began to erode our Constitution, our rights and freedoms so many people have died for, to give you a free hand.

Sometimes I feel as though I am in the middle of a
Twilight Zone movie marathon. If the terrorists wanted to truly destroy America, they couldn't have asked for a better unwitting accomplice than George W. Bush.

Let's hold off on the momuments for a while OK junior.

Mr. President,
As I read the news it seems as though we have only two choices in Iraq; support the right-wing "stay and die" approach or follow the "cut and run" left-wing crowd. I am so confused! What should I do? What should you do?

Resign! That is what you should do, you sad little man; don't you know when to call it quits? Trying to salvage your presidency has to be like catching a greased pig. And that pig just got another couple of coats of grease this week, when both the UN and your spy agencies produced reports which both prove you have made the world, which includes the United States, much more dangerous.

Bad news for sure dude. Your underlings tried to divert the resulting fire to Clinton, but it was a poor effort and only enflamed the ex-president, who must have decided that after the right-wing production of "Path to 9/11" aired by Disney, he wasn't going to take it any more and let loose a fine tirade of scorching rhetoric at the hapless FOX reporter Chris Wallace.

You tried to set up a simple backfire with Wallace's attack on the ex-president to contain the larger blaze in Iraq, but it blew up in your face.

The huge blaze in the Mid East, goes on unabated, your few ill-equipped firefighters are dying at the rate of two per day. Many times that numbered are left with tragic life-altering injuries.

Your ill-conceived dismantling of the Iraqi police and army units allowed a century of simmering tribal tensions to ignite into white-hot hatred of sectarian vengeance, prompting murders, kidnapings, and executions by death squads and militiamen.

The heat of anti-western hatred has reached into Spain and Britain killing scores of innocent people whose only mistake was electing a government which supported your Iraqi coalition. It is not surprising to have both government leaders either out of power or severely crippled by associating with you.

How you live with all the deadly lies you have woven is a mystery beyond my comprehension. It must be a struggle to remember them all before all the unblinking eyes of cameras and microphones.

You must be so repelled by the constant presence of those elite stylebook mavens; but you need them to print your mantra for war over and over until the every dolt within your base can repeat each syllable by wrote.

Those snobbish reporters have yet to understand the brilliance of your performances.

Your public persona of an easygoing born-again Christian who comically mangles the few words God has given him, is so easy to underestimate, so easy to dismiss as a puppet, a pawn incapable of original thought or independent action. If things go terribly wrong as they have in Afghanistan, Iraq, North Korea, China, South America, who would fault such an obviously addled man as yourself. Surely, you must have been misinformed, mislead, by others, no doubt it must have been the liberal's fault.

But, the sheen has come off you junior. It began to ebb several months after the smoldering of the twin towers was finally quenched. It began to peel away the day you decided to brutally, pre-emptivly bomb a sovereign nation just because you could.

How dare those left-wing anti-war freedom-hating elitists dare question your motives, your actions, or your manner of speech, much less your powers to act unilaterally during one of the most dangerous times in our country's history? Don't they understand the dangers are unprecedented, and the enemy's changeable, and their fluid tactics defy the democracy as our founders established. Terrorists who want to attack our proud financial institutions, demand quick action, quick decisions unimpeded by bureaucratic institutions like Congress and the courts.

I hate to break it to you buddy but that veneer of your market-tested mannerisms and impeccably articulated Texan accent, hides a vicious and malignant personality as sadistic and uncaring as the devil that Chavez and many others call you behind your back.

You can pray that one day America will realize the greatness of your gifts to the nation. The hope is slipping away, that one day they will erect statues in your memory. It is evaporating as quickly as gas in an SUV.

Well ...only if the fire you started in those distant Iraqi sands doesn't overtake the entire planet first.

No wonder Condi is loosing it!

Mr. President,
Is Condi starting to lose it? Her curt comment last week to the new European Union President is another example of her plight.

She met with 25 foreign ministers of the EU last week when she got involved in a
tense exchange of words with Finnish Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja, the present EU president.

The topic should not have been a surprise, but diplomats are so 'diplomatic' that the issue of rendition flights involving the EU was not on the official agenda so all discussion was politely tabled. But Rice just had to push the group, saying all countries must keep up the fight against terrorism. I guess this was just too much hypocrisy for the Finnish diplomat to take so he replied: "We all agree on the need to fight terrorism but we should do so in a way that does not create more terrorism in the future."
Rice shot back: "Let's deal with those who are trying to kill us now and leave the future for some other time."
Unwilling to leave her the last word as the meeting broke up, Tuomioja added: "The future is with us today."

Even diplomats from Finland are losing their patience with your never-ending bullshit. But, why did Rice lose her cool like that?

There are so many possible reasons for Condi to loose her cool, I don't know where to start.

Perhaps the answer lies within your more recent administration failures, embarrassments, and outright screw-ups.

Maybe it was because :
Canada recently ruled that you illegally abducted an innocent Canadian and had him tortured for 10 months in Syria?

Or maybe it is you finally admitted the United States had been sending many suspects to secret prisons around the world, which makes all prior U.S. denials of the program's existence, one more example of U.S falsehoods you gave to the world.

Or maybe it was the very-revealing military and moral support for Israel's attack on Lebanese civilians and infrastructure, which solidified America's "real" position in Mid East as anti-Arab. Thus making all of your talk about supporting fragile Lebanese democracy a farce.

Perhaps it was the torture debate by the Congress and the consequential rewriting of the Geneva Convention by the Republican leadership which tries to apply a slight veneer of makeup to hide the country's black eye. But instead makes the U.S. look inhuman, blood thirsty, and cruel with it's version of 'torture light.'

Maybe it was the recent
NIE report pulled together from all 16 American spy agencies which stated that the Iraq occupation has made us more unsafe. How can this be? This is completely contrary to what you have been peddling. You even bragged that Republicans can keep us safer.

Or maybe it is Pakistan. Pakistan has become very troublesome. They just
signed a treaty with the Tailiban, and the rumor is that they gave Bin Laden a pass if he lives a 'peaceful life.' to which you threatened Pakistan that you would enter their country in order to track terrorists down.

We all remember your boast that you would bring him in 'dead or alive.' But, nearly five years after your vow to Americans, you disbanded the unit called 'Alec Station' which was created to track Bin Laden down.

So, all the recent threats of U.S. military action inside Pakistan to counter al-Qaida militants is just to help to resurrect your 'tough macho-man' image, without the flight suit. By the way Pakistan's government vowed to not let foreign forces enter its territory, a day after your John Wayne impression.

Maybe Musharraf's book deal prompted him to spill the beans and tell us that you threatened Pakistan that unless they joined your "coalition of the willing," you would bomb them into submission. Musharraf also leaked the fact that
you had to pay Pakistan $ millions to turn over Taliban prisoners to our CIA.

Pakistan is a real bitch of a problem; unbeknown to many people, Pakistan has the capacity to build nuclear weapons. So you need him in power but not make him a target for a coup by the extremists living in his country.

Musharraf is on shaky ground because you forced him to support you for and that bit of news will make his government even shakier because the Pakistanis already hated us.

Although relations between Pakistan and India have become almost as testy as those with the U.S.
You pushed through the sale of 36 F-16C/D Block 50/52 Falcon fighters to make amends for selling India once-prohibited nuclear technology and not to Pakistan. Congress was pissed off at the short notice you gave them to approve the sale, but you had to act quickly to hold off the erosion of the 'shot-gun' alliance.

There are other issues such as Russia's retaliatory actions for not being admitted into the WTO, China's growing military, Somalia's Islamists, Darfur's genocide, and the increasing number of troops needed in Iraq. These are just a few of the issues which should get her hooked on ambien.

Although any of these issues could make anyone really frustrated with your policies and quite cranky. I am guessing your decision to rush
the deployment of a major "strike group" of ships, including the nuclear aircraft carrier Eisenhower as well as a cruiser, destroyer, frigate, submarine escort, and supply ship, to the Persian Gulf, just off Iran's western coast, probably takes the cake.

Silly Rice, she thought she could make some headway with Iran. But you and Cheney cut her legs out from under her and sent in the heavy artillery to offer them a deal they can't refuse.

This has the feel of Japan's surprise attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7 1941. They too had diplomats in the country they were going to attack at the same time the Hawaiian Island was being bombed, except that this will not be a surprise to Iran.

Whether the news from the NIE, National Intelligence Estimate, resonates loudly enough with enough Americans to drown out your administration's ongoing lies is yet to be seen.

But, If just the portion of the report, which states that the Iraq occupation has compromised the safety of our country, could be enough to finally allow Americans to see through the fog of administration lies; well all I can say is hallelujah! It has been a long time coming.

It may be too late however and I may finally have to unearth my cache of weapons, pick up my bulldogs, go to my secure encampment with three years of supplies and hunker down until you leave office, because I have faith in your ability to make any and all situations worse.

With all of these balls in the air, I will bet many of them will hit the ground. I only hope they don't produce those mushroom clouds you exaggerated about once upon a time when we were relatively safe, and we lost only 3000 people to our enemies.
